Today was a powerful and meaningful start to Lent, and we are especially grateful for our **first-ever family-friendly Ash Wednesday service!** It was such a joy to see families worshiping together, learning about repentance, and receiving ashes in a way that engaged all ages.

From our traditional services to this new opportunity for families, today was a beautiful reminder that we are all called to turn our hearts toward God. Thank you to everyone who joined us—may this Lenten season be one of growth, reflection, and renewal.

Joseph’s story in Genesis shows the power of forgiveness and trusting God, even when betrayed by those closest to us. His brothers threw him into a pit, sold him into slavery, and caused him immense suffering, but Joseph chose to forgive them instead of seeking revenge. ⁠

Joseph’s journey reminds us that God’s love calls us to something greater than resentment—it calls us to heal, forgive, and transform. No matter the hurt, we can be agents of peace and grace, just as Joseph was to his brothers. ⁠

After Hurricane Helene impacted so many in North Carolina, this incredible couple took it upon themselves to coordinate a donation drive, filling not one, but two garages with much-needed supplies for those suffering from the devastation. 🏠⁠

Thanks to their hard work and the generosity of our church and local community, these donations were packed up and delivered directly to those in need. 🙏⁠
